It has to be done from their main computer, but is for the chromebook. Look under Connect a Classic Printer section.
- Turn your printer on. Open Google Chrome on your desktop computer.
- In the top right, click the Menu
- Click Settings > Show advanced settings.
- Under "Google Cloud Print," click Add printers.
- If prompted, sign in with your Google Account.
- Select the printers you want to connect, and then click Add printer(s).
