DUNCAN DEMON BASEBALL
SENIORS 2010
#2 Cody Bennett is the son of Donnie and Tammy Bennett.
Cody is a 3 year Letterman and a 3 year starter for the Demons.
Cody will make the move to centerfield this year after spending the
last two years in leftfield. Very good outfielder that
reads ball off the bat real well. Will hit in the leadoff spot this
year.
#12 Chris Gilbert is the son of Chris and Dana Gilbert. He is
a 2 year letterman and two year starter for Duncan. Chris will
be the starting leftfielder and hit in the two hole. Good
wheels with good instincts for running the bases.
#9 Hunter Green is the son of Todd and MaryLou Green. He is a two year
letterman and starter for the Duncan Demons. Hunter is a
returning right fielder for the Demons. Hunter rounds out a
great group of outfielders that we have this season. Strong
arm from the outfield that will also be utilized on the mound.
#1 Kale Thaxton is the son of Mark and Patti Thaxton. He is
a four year letterman and starter for the Duncan Demons. Kale
has handled the Demons 2nd base position since his freshman year.
Strong lefthanded hitter that has opposite field power. Kale
will again be looked upon to lead our offense.
#19 Jake White is the son of Rann and Bama White. He is a
two year letterman for Duncan. Jake will be utilized as a
relief pitcher and reserve outfielder for the Demons.
#27 Randal Snider is the son of Grover and Lisa Snider. He
is a two year letterman that was used as a utility player last year
while seeing action at 1st base and rightfield. Randal is the
type of player every coach longs to have due to his work ethic and
aggressiveness on the field. Will see action at 1st base and
on the mound this year.
#25 Tyler Gay is the son of Marlon and Janice Gay. He is a
four year letterman. Tyler has handled the closer role for the
Demons since his freshman year. Moved into the starting
rotation as a junior while continuing this role as closer. He
will be looked upon to lead a strong starting pitching rotation.
He has movement on every pitch.
