Congratulations Emerson, Horace Mann, Mark Twain, Plato, and Woodrow Wilson Elementary Schools for being recognized as a PLTW Distinguished School. PLTW Launch is the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum DPS has chosen to teach Science at all the Elementary Sites. It is designed for PreK-5 grade levels that tap into students' exploratory nature, engaging them in learning that feels like play, and encourages them to keep discovering.

Due to the Inclement Weather days during the week of January 30th, the following change in school schedules will start on Monday, February 13th, until the end of the 22-23 school year. This will meet the State required instructional time for this school year. Click image for details.
Please be safe this winter. The school doors open at 7:45 am. Please make sure your kiddos are dressed appropriately.
