Reminder for our DHS students accepted into an RRTC program:
Mandatory: New and Returning Student Orientation will be held on one of the following dates:
July 30 | 6:00-8:00 PM
July 31 | 9:00-11:00 AM
All accepted students must attend one of these two sessions, not both. Students who received acceptance letters back in April should plan to attend.
High school students are encouraged to bring one parent or guardian with them.

Cameron University Summer Engineering Day Camp
Calling all high school students interested in engineering!
Cameron University's Department of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering is hosting a FREE Summer Engineering Day Camp on July 29-30, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (sign-in starts at 8:30 a.m.).
This two-day camp is designed for high school students in pre-engineering programs. Students will learn about computer-aided design (CAD) and build truss structures through hands-on activities.
No charge to participants! All project supplies and equipment, instruction by CU faculty, and lunch are provided both days.
