Our halls were full of holiday cheer today, and Principal Elroy led the fun as our very own “Elf on the Shelf!”
She magically appeared in a new spot between each class period, and students who found her earned extra lunchtime as a reward.
What a joyful way to bring smiles, laughter, and a little holiday magic to our campus! ❤️💚

Duncan Band Boosters are hosting their 13th Annual Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, January 31st, from 10am-5pm. This may sound odd, but it is the best way to buy a new mattress because the prices can’t be beaten, the brands are the same as retail stores, and every purchase benefits the Band Boosters.

Our DHS SADD students are collecting warm items this holiday season to support individuals and families in need. From December 1–12, we’re accepting donations of:
• Coats
• Socks
• Mittens & gloves
• Hats
• Hand warmers
• Blankets
• Any warm winter essentials
Donations can be dropped off in the box outside Room 194.

In collaboration with the Duncan Police Department, we have been advised to release the Hold/Secure Status at Duncan High School, Duncan Middle School, Horace Mann Elementary, and Mark Twain Elementary.

DHS, DMS, Mark Twain, and Horace Mann are currently in a Hold out of an abundance of caution. There is a situation occurring in a nearby neighborhood, and it does not involve any school at this time.
We are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Everyone is safe, and learning is continuing inside the classrooms.
We will share updates as soon as we have them.

Please consider donating items such as:
• Boxed stuffing
• Canned green beans
• Instant Mashed potatoes
• Canned cranberry sauce
• Other non-perishable holiday meal items
🏆 High School Advisory Class Competition
The advisory class that brings in the most items will earn an extra 10 minutes of lunch on November 20th.
📣 Winner announced November 19th
