The 5th graders are reading Where the Red Fern Grows in the library. Mrs.Townsend invited her friend from HS who is a trapper for the state of Oklahoma come to visit the kids this week. They were such good listeners and learned all about trapping and why it’s important. Thank you Dustan Bryant for the visit and education.
We had more first graders pass their sight word level today. Keep up the hard work! ❤️🧡

Mrs. Smiley's kindergarten class worked on beginning sounds, rhyming, CVC words and writing sentences during morning centers.
First grade has been studying about pumpkins this week. We have done a sink or float prediction and an experiment. Today we read Pumpkin Jack and made our own Jack. We can’t wait to see what happens to him.

After completing a novel study, 4th grade got to take a trip to see The Wild Robot 🤖 Then they spent some time comparing and contrasting the novel and the movie! Thank you to The Palace for hosting us and also The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center for allowing us to use their pavilion as an outdoor classroom!
