STEM applications are now available for the 2026-2027 school year!
If your student is interested in participating in STEM next school year, please have them pick up an application from the front office or STEM classrooms and return it to the DMS office by April 30th.
Important to know:
STEM courses that require an application replace a student's regular science course. More information about STEM courses is provided on the application.

All inclement weather days were used during the January snow and ice storm, requiring one additional day to meet state attendance requirements.

🍽️Meal Account Information - Adding Funds Online 🍽️
Thank you for your patience as we’ve transitioned to our new cafeteria system!
We’re excited to share that digital payments are now available for adding funds to your student’s meal accounts. Want to use a debit or credit card? You can now do that easily, just follow the instructions below to get started!
As always, mailing checks or cash to Central Office remains an option. Digital payments are simply an additional, convenient way to manage your student’s school meal funds.
Friendly reminder that Breakfast and Lunch for the 25-26 School Year are Free District Wide. The students that primarily use additional funds are Middle School and High School Students with their ala carte options in the cafeteria. These additional purchases are optional for those students.

This isn’t how we hoped to finish the week, but safety has to come first. With temperatures expected to fall below freezing overnight and icy spots likely to return on neighborhood and school roads, Duncan Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 30th.
Road conditions should improve later in the day, but the morning hours are expected to be difficult for buses, student drivers, and staff. We know this closing may cause challenges for families, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we make decisions with safety in mind.
We look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Monday, ready to start a new week together!
