District-Wide Make-Up Day: Friday, April 3rd
Duncan Public Schools will be in school for a make-up day on Friday, April 3rd.
All inclement weather days were used during the January snow and ice storm, requiring one day to be made up to meet state attendance requirements.
We understand this adjustment may cause some inconvenience and appreciate the flexibility of our families and staff.

Snow Day January 30th, 2026
No Virtual Learning
This isn’t how we hoped to finish the week, but safety has to come first. With temperatures expected to fall below freezing overnight and icy spots likely to return on neighborhood and school roads, Duncan Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 30th.
Road conditions should improve later in the day, but the morning hours are expected to be difficult for buses, student drivers, and staff. We know this closing may cause challenges for families, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we make decisions with safety in mind.
We look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Monday, ready to start a new week together!

Join us for the Transition Resource Fair on February 5, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Red River Technology Center (Rooms 508/510).
This event is open to students with IEPs and 504s, ages 3–22, and their families. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local agencies and organizations that provide transition assistance and resources designed to support students.

This week our district will be conducting safety drills to help keep everyone prepared. In the coming days you may see first responders at different school sites. These partners are working alongside us to make sure our schools remain safe and welcoming places for students, staff, and families.

Our PTO has been extra busy this holiday season making sure our students and staff feel special. We appreciate everything they do for us!
Christmas Parties are Thursday at 2:00! If you plan on attending, you will need to pre-register as a visitor on the link below. You must include a picture when you pre-register. This will help avoid long lines the day of the party! Remember, siblings are not allowed to attend the school parties. If you have any questions, please reach out.

By doing this in advance, you will be able to get to your child's classroom on party day quickly.
