Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎✨ Join us as we celebrate our amazing teachers and staff who are truly wickedly oz-some! Check out the fun, simple ways to show your appreciation each day: 💚 Monday: Write a heartfelt note 💗 Tuesday: Share a favorite memory 🧹 Wednesday: Bring a classroom supply 🌟 Thursday: Show extra kindness Because of our teachers, we have all been changed for good. 💫 Let’s make them feel how much they are valued and appreciated!

Mrs. McPherson’s class got to try the pickles they made with the dill they grew. The majority loved them and wanted more. After tasting, they graphed the results of “Did you like the pickles?”  🥒

Mrs. McPherson’s class has been working so hard making good choices! 🎉 They completed their challenge of earning 15 smileys in the jar, and today they enjoyed their reward—free center tubs! 🥳 We are so proud of their hard work and positive behavior. Keep it up, friends! 💛

Mrs. Smiley's kindergarten fun is in full swing! Our students practiced their sight words in a hands-on (and a little messy!) way using shaving cream.

✨ First grade had a magical time today! ✨ Our students loved watching Marvin the Misplaced Magician, performed by the talented Duncan High School students and Mr. Sullivan! The show was full of fun, laughter, and a little bit of magic that kept everyone smiling from start to finish. A big shoutout to the high school performers—they did an amazing job! Our first graders truly enjoyed every moment! 👏✨

There’s something special about little leaders in the making 🤍 Today Mrs. Higgins class had the sweetest visit from 5th graders who came to read with us—building confidence, connection, and a love for stories one page at a time 📚✨

🌍 Happy Earth Day from Miss. Ramirez’s class! 🌍 We talked about how to take care of our planet. ♻️Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!♻️ We ended the day with yummy dirt cups! 🤎

Mrs. Blevins class learned all about taking care of our planet! After learning about how to reduce, reuse and recycle these students got an extra special Earth Day snack…. Dirt and Worms!

🌎✨ Mrs. McPherson’s class had a fantastic Earth Day! We spent the day learning all about the 3 Rs — reduce, reuse, and recycle — and how we can take care of our planet every day. ♻️💚 To top it all off, we ended our celebration by making (and enjoying!) delicious dirt pudding! 🍫🌱 Such a fun and memorable way to celebrate Earth Day together!

Mrs. McPherson’s class had a wild time on their Zoo Field Trip. Students attended the Spots and Stripes class where they learned all about why animal looks are important for their communication w d protection. Then students got to explore the Zoo and find the animal they researched.  Thank you PTO for sponsoring our field trip! 🦒🐘🐊🐅🦍

Mrs. McPherson’s class has been working so hard over the past couple of weeks on their Animal Research Reports leading up to our zoo field trip! 🐾🦁 Students researched their animals, recorded their findings, created rough drafts, completed final drafts, and even illustrated their animals. They did a fabulous job, and I am so proud of all their hard work! 💛
