Mrs. Smiley’s Kindergarten Glows When We Read!
Our classroom was shining bright as students enjoyed glowing up their reading skills. When the lights go down, the love for books lights up! So proud of these little readers and the excitement they bring to learning every day.

Ms. Gates’ class enjoyed dressing as their favorite book character.

Mrs. Smiley’s kindergarten friends had so much fun dressing up as their favorite book characters to celebrate Read Across America!

Read Across America in 5th grade!

Dress as your favorite book character day was so much fun! 🤩

Way to go, Mrs. Higgins’ readers! 📚 These classmates completed 150 minutes of reading and turned in their reading logs. We are so proud of their hard work!

Book character day in Miss. Ramirez’s class! 📖📚

Miss Meadows' class loved dressing up as their favorite book characters 😊

Reading makes Miss Meadows' class sparkle ✨

We were honored to welcome former State Senator Jessica Garvin as our guest reader this morning. She read If I Had Your Vote by the Cat in the Hat, a fun and engaging story that introduces students to the importance of voting and having a voice. We’re so grateful for community leaders who take time to invest in our students and inspire them to be thoughtful citizens and life long readers!

When middle schoolers become story time superstars! Our kindergarten class loved having big readers come share their books yesterday 📖💫
