Mrs. Smiley’s Kindergarten
Today we wore white and sequins to celebrate how every reader shines in their own bright way!
Watching these sweet readers sparkle inside and out made our day extra special. Keep shining, little stars!

Red, white, and READ! ❤️🤍💙
Mrs. Alston’s class enjoyed celebrating Read Across America Day in true patriotic style- decked out in red, white, and blue!

We were honored to welcome Superintendent Dr. Byerly as our guest reader this morning! She shared the story Sticks, a meaningful story about perseverance, support, and finding the courage to keep going when things don’t go as planned. We’re so thankful for leaders who pour into our kids and model resilience every day!

Readers can read here, there, anywhere!
From the carpet to under tables to cozy corners, our little learners showed that a good book can be enjoyed anywhere. We love growing a classroom full of happy readers!

We’re kicking off a special week of guest readers to celebrate Read Across America! This morning, our Student Council President, Bailee Howard, shared the beautiful story The Invisible Boy, a powerful reminder that kindness and inclusion help everyone feel seen. We’re grateful for leaders who model compassion and inspire our students to do the same! ❤️🖤
