Due to incoming weather projected for early Friday afternoon, Duncan Public Schools will move to virtual learning on Friday, January 23.

We understand that these decisions can create difficulties for families, and we do not make them lightly. However, we will always err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of our students and staff. Student safety is our top priority.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Our Superintendent’s Advisory Council at Duncan High School recently created, planned, and fully executed a Leadership Academy for outstanding middle school leaders, and it was an incredible day of learning and connection.

Students explored topics like friendship, positivity, public speaking, school spirit, social media, getting involved, and more. The day was filled with engaging activities, great snacks, meaningful conversations, and new connections. We are so proud of these student leaders for hosting a truly student led event and setting the Duncan Standard everywhere they go.

A special thank you to New Hope Baptist Church for opening their doors and providing such an amazing space for this experience. We are grateful for their partnership and the role they played in making the day a success.
