As we come to the end of a wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support, encouragement, and partnership. It has truly been a joy and a privilege to work with your children and watch them grow, learn, and thrive. Your involvement — whether through volunteering, communicating, or simply cheering your child on — made a meaningful difference.

Miss Hale’s first graders learned all about Pablo Picasso today! They even made cubism self portraits! ❤️
Miss Hale got to spend some time with her past firsties today! We watched our class video and thought back at our time together.
This group of kids is such a special group! In 2020 we came back from Covid wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart. Throughout that school year, we grew so close. We were so thankful to be back together! They made me so proud that year and they have continued to grow and excel. I know they are going to make Horace Mann so proud next year as they enter the Middle School!

Joan Myrmel, Tatum Green, and An Vuong completed the Great American Scholar challenge. They earned a special lunch with Mrs. Adams today.

Even though the unified track meet was cancelled- Horace Mann still had fun playing games with their awesome high school friends!
Due to the expectation of severe weather today, the Unified Track Meet has been canceled. High School partners will deliver t-shirts and food to each student at their campus.
Mrs. Gates has some smart cookies in her class. Everyone passed their smart cookie fluency tests. They each received a reward and a cookie. 🍪
First graders read the book “Yes Day” and then they got to have a Yes Day today. It was filled with Kahoot, crafts, lunch outside, directed drawings, blocks, magna tiles and an extra recess. It was such a fun day!!
Mrs. McPherson’s class completed their final 𝓀𝒾𝓃𝒹𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑒𝓃𝑔𝑒 and got to bring a stuffed animal to Yes Day.
First grade did a taste test on the pickles they made a few weeks ago. There were mixed reviews. Some loved them and some did not.
