These are my heifers that are staying in a pen by my house. Someday they will be in with the big cows and having babies. Don’t worry, they are not cold. The snow on their back shows that they have enough hair and fat insulating them from the cold and that is why the snow doesn’t melt on their backs because the heat doesn’t leave their body. It is kind of like when you go outside and you get snow on your coat and it doesn’t melt. There is no heat transfer.

Ms. Self’s class has had a great December! They’ve shared kindness, studied about Holidays on the Trail, dressed up, and ended it with a party building snowmen!

Ms. Gates’ kids had so much fun celebrating pajama day, taking pictures with silly glasses, seeing Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and making Christmas ornaments. They said it was the best day ever!

Mrs. McPherson’s first grade had a fun Grinchmas Party today. We even had a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. 🎅🏼🤶🏻
