Our leadership team is always spending time to prepare themselves for the upcoming school year. Last week our K through 5th grade elementary principals and assistant superintendents were at the 806 Technologies Learning Summit. 2 days focused on planning for this upcoming school year and trying to always add new tools to our tool belt to serve our students and parents. Thank you to our committed staff for always being committed to their academic growth and thank you to 806 Technologies for making this resource available. #ItIsAlwaysAGreatDayToBeADuncanDemon

We are so pleased to announce that Kade Golleher will be the new Transportation Director for Duncan Public Schools. "I am grateful for the opportunity and trust afforded to me by the Duncan School District and township. I am looking forward to serving our students, community, and district as the new Transportation Director." - Kade Golleher "It is always exciting as a superintendent to be able to bring back someone who is, and always will be a Duncan Demon. We are so happy to bring Kade on to allow our transportation department to be able to continue to improve and help us utilize our new facilities. Duncan Public School's award-winning STEM program held an amazing STEM camp last week for our elementary students! It was a huge success! Thank you to all those who came and thank you for showing how smart all of our great students are! #ItIsAlwaysAGreatDayToBeADuncanDemon

Calling all middle school volleyball players! Official volleyball practice for 7th and 8th graders will begin on July 15th from 10:15-12:15. Please make sure your child has a physical on file and the rankone paperwork all filled out before they can practice. If you aren’t sure how to do rankone, you will need to google rankone .com and click on where it says “parents click here” and fill out the 4 necessary documents.

Summer school this year has been a great success! Thank you to Dr. Lance Minson for the popsicles to cool us off and Chris Stover, our game warden, for his presentation! It is always a great day to be a Duncan Demon!

We are excited to announce we have a returning Duncan Demon joining us next year. Tom Brack, former Duncan wrestling coach and assistant principal, will be returning to become an assistant principal at Duncan Middle School. "How great is it to bring back someone who has done so much for Duncan Public Schools over almost 20 years. Mr. Brack has always represented what it means to be a Duncan Demon, and we look forward to him being back in our hallways. We are excited to see him help Mrs. Berthold this upcoming year at the middle school campus." - Dr. Channa Byerly
