Plato Elementary Color Run Fun! 🎨🏃♂️🏃♀️
Plato students had an amazing time at their Color Run celebration!
This event was a reward for their incredible participation in the Plato PTO Giving Campaign, and they definitely earned it!
Our students showed up, showed out, and had a blast while supporting their school. We are so proud of their effort and grateful for our PTO and volunteers who made this day happen.

Our DHS Juniors spent time this week learning CPR and practicing hands-on skills with certified instructors. We are proud of our students for taking this training seriously and gaining knowledge that could help save a life one day.

Please join us in congratulating our Site Teachers of the Year, and a very special congratulations to our District Teacher of the Year, Mr. Todd Ledford!
Mr. Ledford teaches Biology and Aviation at Duncan High School. He is also the Head Track and Cross-Country Coach. Last week’s assembly at Mark Twain Elementary was packed with celebration and fun! 🌟
Our art classes also entered the Electric Cooperative coloring contest in honor of Willie Wirehand’s 75th birthday, and we are thrilled to share that Jacob Tovar, a 2nd grader in Mrs. Biffle’s class, earned 2nd place in the PreK–3rd grade division! 🖍️⚡
And of course, we can’t forget our staff, who joined in the fun with some fantastic costumes! 🎭✨
