The Duncan High School Unified Team brought home GOLD in Volleyball at the Oklahoma Special Olympics Winter Games! We are so proud of these athletes for their hard work, teamwork, and heart on the court. This win is a true celebration of inclusion, sportsmanship, and the Duncan Standard.

We are proud to recognize our Duncan High School students who were honored as Demon Difference Makers for demonstrating the core values of Duncan Public Schools: perseverance, kindness, teamwork, integrity, and leadership.
Students were nominated by teachers, school leaders, and coaches through classes, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
In addition, five DHS staff members were also recognized. At Duncan Public Schools, students and staff are held to the same high standard, and we are proud to celebrate those who consistently model our core values.

Duncan’s Unified Team will compete at the Special Olympics Oklahoma State Winter Games in Norman on Friday, January 9th.
The event brings together thousands of athletes from across the state, including Unified Sports teams where athletes with and without intellectual disabilities compete together.
We are proud of our Duncan athletes and wish them the best as they represent our district with teamwork and heart!
The Leadership Council at Horace Mann Elementary, led by Mrs. Alston, is helping students grow into confident leaders right before our eyes. This group of fourth- and fifth-grade students meets twice a month to strengthen their leadership skills and serve as a student voice in planning and implementing school initiatives and activities.
Through leadership development, community service, and hands-on experiences, council members are building confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and public speaking skills that will continue to grow as they move forward on their leadership journey.
We are proud of the students and educators across our district who are setting the Duncan Standard and preparing the leaders of tomorrow!
